Terms of Use

Effective Date: April 4, 2026
These Terms govern the use of SaleSense SFA, a proprietary Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform developed and maintained by LogiQbits Limited. By accessing or using our mobile applications (Android / iOS) and web application, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Nature of Service

SaleSense SFA is a proprietary Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform developed and maintained by LogiQbits Limited. These Terms govern the use of our mobile applications (Android / iOS) and web-application.

2. Product Evolution & Roadmap

Automatic Updates: Users are entitled to all system updates, security patches, and feature enhancements relevant to their subscription tier.
Development Scope: The service is provided as a standardized SaaS product. Development is governed strictly by the SaleSense Product Roadmap. Requests for features or modifications outside this roadmap are not available or deliverable under the SaaS model and are subject to a separate model of implementation of "Customized solution" based on feasibility and commercial reviews.

3. Operational Dependencies (GPS & Background Services)

Tracking Accuracy: The platform utilizes Global Positioning System (GPS) technology to provide movement tracking and geo-path animation.
User Performance: The accuracy of movement data is dependent on the application remaining active or functional. LogiQbits Limited is not responsible or liable for data gaps or reporting discrepancies caused by:
  • Manual termination of the application ("Forceful closing of the Mobile-App").
  • Disabling GPS or background location permissions.
  • Use of "Power Saving" modes that restrict background data.
  • Any device level malfunctions due to its Hardware / Firmware / OS / other Apps / Malware issues that may impact GPS function / SFA App.

3.1 GPS Validation & Geographic Boundaries

SaleSense utilizes GPS technology for movement tracking and location-based features. To ensure data accuracy and prevent invalid location data, the system implements the following validation measures:
  • Geographic Boundary: The system only accepts GPS coordinates within the territorial boundaries of Bangladesh. Location data outside this boundary is automatically filtered and discarded.
  • Invalid Coordinate Rejection: The system automatically rejects invalid GPS readings, including but not limited to coordinates with latitude or longitude values of (0, 0), null values, or anomalous data caused by GPS hardware malfunctions.
  • Server-Side Validation: All location data is validated both on the device and server-side to ensure data integrity.
  • Historical Data Migration: During system upgrades, legacy work sessions may have been automatically migrated and closed. This process may result in minor data inconsistencies where movement data exists without corresponding active work sessions.

3.2 Map Service Provider

SaleSense uses MapBox as the default map visualization service for the SaaS platform. Users should be aware of the following:
  • Map Detailing: Map coverage and level of detail may vary by region. Certain areas, particularly rural or remote locations, may have less detailed map data compared to other mapping providers (e.g., Google Maps).
  • Service Limitation: Variations in map detailing are inherent to the chosen service provider and are not considered defects or service interruptions.
  • Provider Changes: Map service providers may be changed at the discretion of LogiQbits Limited based on service quality, cost, and availability. Users will be notified of any material changes.

3.3 Offline Mode & Data Synchronization

SaleSense supports offline location tracking to ensure continuous data capture even without internet connectivity:
  • On-Device Storage: When a work session is active and the device loses internet connectivity, GPS movements are stored locally on the device.
  • Automatic Sync: Once internet connectivity is restored, the application automatically synchronizes all stored location data with the server.
  • Continuous Tracking: Users are not required to maintain continuous internet connectivity during their journey. The app will continue tracking movements offline.
  • Data Integrity: Offline data is encrypted and stored securely on the device until synchronization is complete.

3.4 Battery & Bandwidth Optimization

SaleSense is designed for efficient resource usage:
  • Low-Bandwidth Design: During an active work session, the application minimizes data transmission by sending only essential GPS coordinates. No unnecessary API calls or background services are executed.
  • Mobile Data Usage: Keeping mobile data "always on" during work sessions may cause other background applications on the device to consume additional bandwidth and battery. SaleSense is not responsible for bandwidth or battery consumption caused by third-party applications.
  • Battery Preservation: The offline-first capability reduces the need for continuous network activity, helping preserve battery life during extended work sessions.
  • User Recommendation: For optimal battery and bandwidth performance, users should ensure only the SaleSense app has background location permissions and disable unnecessary background apps during work sessions.

4. Platform Compliance

Use of the mobile application is subject to the standard terms and conditions & policy of the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. Users must ensure their devices meet the minimum hardware and OS requirements specified by LogiQbits.

5. Intellectual Property & Data

All software architecture, source code, and design elements remain the exclusive property of LogiQbits Limited. Client-generated data (Sales, Collections, TA/DA) is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and local data protection laws.

6. Limitation of Liability

LogiQbits provides the service on an "as-is" basis. While we strive for 100% uptime, we are not responsible for service interruptions caused by third-party infrastructure (e.g., Apple/Google services, local ISP outages, or hardware failure).

7. Work Session & Attendance Management

SaleSense provides workforce attendance tracking capabilities. This section outlines how work sessions are recorded, calculated, and managed within the platform.

7.1 Work Session Tracking

Each work session captures the following data points:
  • Start Time & End Time: When work begins and concludes
  • Break Time: Total duration of breaks during the session
  • Working Time: Net hours (End Time − Start Time − Break Time)
Date Boundary: All sessions are bound to a single calendar day. Cross-day sessions are automatically adjusted based on configured business hours.

7.2 Attendance Records

An attendance record aggregates all work sessions for a given date, capturing:
  • First check-in and last check-out times
  • Total working time (sum of all sessions)
  • Total break time across all sessions
Multiple sessions per day are supported and aggregated for total calculations while maintaining individual session records for audit purposes.

7.3 Time Calculation Standards

Working Time = (End Time − Start Time) − Break Time
  • Calculations performed in milliseconds for precision
  • Results displayed in hours/minutes format
  • Negative values auto-corrected to zero
  • All times operate in the organization's configured timezone

7.4 Data Integrity & Corrections

The system automatically validates session data to ensure accuracy:
  • Session end times cannot exceed calendar date boundaries
  • Working time must fall within valid ranges (0-24 hours)
  • Cross-day timestamps are adjusted to the session's date
  • All corrections maintain audit trails for compliance
  • Automatic Session Closure: The system includes an automated worker that closes any work session left open at the end of a calendar day. This prevents extended sessions from causing battery drain or data inaccuracies.
  • Legacy Session Migration: Historical work sessions from previous versions may have been automatically migrated and closed. Users may notice minor inconsistencies during the transition period.

7.5 User Responsibilities

Employees must: accurately record session times, log breaks properly, and report discrepancies promptly.
Administrators must: configure business hours correctly, monitor for anomalies, and ensure compliance with labor regulations.

7.6 Privacy & Data Usage

Attendance data (timestamps, durations, break allocations) is collected and used exclusively for:
  • Payroll and compensation calculations
  • Labor law compliance and reporting
  • Workforce analytics and performance management

7.7 System Limitations & Disclaimer

Users acknowledge that system availability depends on network connectivity and proper device configuration. Salesense provides attendance tracking as a workforce management tool. The organization remains responsible for:
  • Verifying accuracy of recorded hours
  • Ensuring labor law compliance
  • Final determinations on compensation and policies
Modifications: These terms may be updated periodically. Users will be notified of material changes through appropriate channels.
